KLCC Meeting March 14

KLCC March 2026 Meeting

Date: March 14, 2026 Called to order at: 11AM

All 4 Officers Present 12 Attendees

1. Administrative Business

a. Previous meeting minutes read by Amber; approved by Monique

b. Treasurer’s report: Previous balance $138.17

i. Income $85.80 Expenses $45.21

ii. Current balance $168.76

iii. Newsletter cost was $25.21 for 23 paper copies

c. KLCommunity.com and newsletter update (website shown on TV screen)

i. Numbers as of February 24 show more visitors than last month

ii. The Board met to review and approve a plan to add advertising to the website.

iii. Online newsletter subscriber info printed, will be distributed by NW BC’s.

iv. Will wait to increase advertising pricing for several months of web visit stats

v. Donations from residents toward KLCommunity.com signs for BC yards

vi. Wait to discuss with Nick: Sarah’s idea to add a referral list to the website for residents to advertise to other residents.

d. Neighborhood watch report:

i. March meeting changed back to the 19th this month

ii. Still need photos and BC duties to post on website

iii. Nick posted Immigration Rights brochures on our website.

2. Unfinished Business

a. Rummage Sale is 3/21, 9am-2pm. Amber to post signs at the entry and in front of Space 187 at the

intersection of West and Main streets

b. April 18 is the next Dumpster Day; San Diego E-Waste will collect also

b. Items from the Board

i. Photos and job descriptions delayed

c. Items from attendees/residents:

i. 2nd music event was held; Kathy and Amber danced to a medley of 2 Beatles tunes; several people participated in adding tambourine, skull-shaped maracas, drum sticks on chair backs, to Classical Gas. Cyprian’s mom leant her voice to his rendition of Lady Gaga’s Shallow.

ii. Steve plans to add a new “wrinkle” each month, including a suggestion from a resident who volunteered to donate a raffle item

d. Yard of the Month winner: 141
